Pengembangan di Tangerang Selain Banten, proyek ini juga akan dilaksanakan di Tangerang, di mana Maruarar menyumbangkan lahan seluas 2,5 hektare. Pengembangan ini akan bekerja sama dengan pengembang besar seperti Agung Sedayu.
Targetnya adalah dalam delapan bulan mendatang, rumah-rumah tersebut dapat diserahkan secara gratis kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan, sebagai bagian dari program percontohan untuk inisiatif 3 juta rumah.
Kunjungan ke Lokasi-Lokasi Penting
Sebagai bagian dari persiapan, Maruarar bersama Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir akan mengunjungi Kawasan Industri Batang di Jawa Tengah pada 2 November 2024. Kunjungan ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi rumah susun yang telah dibangun di kawasan tersebut namun belum sepenuhnya dihuni.
Sebelum itu, ia juga berencana mengunjungi Wisma Atlet di Jakarta pada 1 November 2024, bersama Menteri Sekretaris Negara (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi. Wisma Atlet diusulkan untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai hunian bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah.
Pemanfaatan Aset yang Belum Optimal Maruarar menegaskan pentingnya memanfaatkan aset-aset pemerintah yang sudah ada namun belum digunakan secara maksimal, seperti rumah susun dan hunian yang masih kosong. Dengan strategi ini, ia berharap dapat mempercepat penyediaan perumahan yang layak bagi masyarakat sambil memaksimalkan efisiensi anggaran.
Program 3 juta rumah ini dirancang tidak hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hunian, tetapi juga untuk mendorong efisiensi penggunaan aset negara serta memberikan akses perumahan layak kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan.
